May Day Fete – Likely Results
There are still a couple of bills and contributions to come in so it is not possible to give a full answer yet, as to the final MDF outcome.
However, £10,700 so far has been taken, which after taking expenses into account, leaves a current ‘profit’ of £7,500. With ‘Matched Giving’ and some Programme Advert contributions taken into account, the final total should rise to £9,300 or so.
Around £1650 is pledged by Barclays, HSBC and National Grid under ‘Matched Giving’ Schemes. This is an area that could be further expanded upon next year, if we can find any more parents with employers that run these sort of schemes.
Last year we made £8025, so a big improvement – well done everyone!

Thanks are due to all who helped on the day, but from my point of view – Alice, Ann Sable, Carole, Finola, Michelle, Charlie, Paul, and Simon – they were the real workers. My wife, Ann has also put up with a lot.
