This site was built to see if a web site would help improve communications between the PTA Committee and the 'membership'.

A rough demo site met with approval from a small sample of 'guinea pigs' - what you see now is a partly completed, rushed version of what is to come.

The haste in publishing the site was due to the wish to give the May Day Fete a boost. - the rest will come in time.

The site is my first effort at this sort of thing,  so if you know better, please forgive me and advise me how to do it properly.  I am not a wordsmith by trade so please forgive mis-spellings, typo's and bad grammar! - (corrections received with thanks)

I have stuck to simple, (hopefully) quick to load pages for the benefit of 'dial-up' users - please let me know if you are in this category and if the speed is o.k. - as time goes on we may go a bit more complicated if most people are on Broadband.

I would  hope to get a lot of content from YOU the members to fill up the 'Your PTA' pages and would hope that people would volunteer to become 'sub-editors' - taking on upkeep of specific areas of the site - e.g. reviews,  places to go etc.

ALL comments gratefully received - I want you to get what YOU want, not just what I think, or the Committee thinks you want. Power to the people!
